Conditional Notice of Recount for the Town of Inglis Election

Conditional notice is hereby given that, if the Levy County Canvassing Board orders a machine recount in the following race – Town of Inglis, Town Commissioner, the Levy County Canvassing Board will convene at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026, to conduct the recount.
If required, a manual recount will be conducted immediately following the completion of the machine recount.
The recount will take place at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 421 S Court St, Bronson, FL 32621, and will be open to the public.
Pursuant to Florida law, any person who decides to appeal a decision made during the recount proceedings must ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made. This record must include all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
